Trade counter Sales/warehouse Operative
An excellent opportunity is available for a Trade Counter Sales/Warehouse Operative to join an expanding team at BEW Bermondsey, an award-winning Electrical Distributor.
Working Monday to Friday only, you will be approachable, knowledgeable and have a positive attitude when handling customer enquiries on our trade counter, email or on the telephone. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is willing to work as part of a team.
Dependable and consistent with a hands-on approach to work, you will also be required to undertake picking and packing of sales orders for collection, delivery or transfer to maintaining stock accuracy and security.
This is a varied role, dealing with customers face to face as well as assisting in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be professional and courteous as well as having good communication skills.
About You
- Previous telephone or face-to-face sales experience within the electrical wholesale industry is a distinct advantage.
- Confident in using in store systems and working to processes.
- Can communicate well and take down information accurately.
- Proficient with Excel and Outlook.
About the Role
- Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 (45 hours per week)
