Overall purpose of the job
To handle all forms of enquiries, provide quotations and process orders for customers via telephone, email and deal with on a face-to-face basis if required to serve on the trade counter.

Reports to Branch Manager

Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Regional Director

Location of Job Orpington, BR5 3HP

Key tasks to be completed by the job holder
Answering telephone, dealing with customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders etc
Pick and pack sales orders or branch transfers.
Serve on the trade counter.
Goods in and good out when required.
Grow and maintain customer relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide the best customer service in our industry, always going “the extra mile.”
At all times adopt an “upbeat,” positive attitude and to act in a courteous and professional manner when dealing with customers, suppliers, and other staff.

Description of the Person
Proven knowledge of products & experience in sales within electrical wholesale industry is preferred but not essential.
Full training will be given

Literate
Numerate
