Maidenhead Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping and stock security within the warehouse, ensuring all goods are accurately processed, stored, and dispatched. Duties include handling goods in and out, picking and packing customer orders, assembling orders from stock, inspecting goods received, completing Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and maintaining accurate administration and paperwork for all transactions. The role also involves serving customers on the Trade Counter as required, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards at all times.
In addition to warehouse responsibilities, the role includes providing driving cover for holidays, sickness, and general absence, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while upholding company standards of professionalism and courtesy. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential, along with a full, clean UK driving licence and an understanding of warehouse operations and Health & Safety requirements.
About You
- Experience preferred but not essential.
- Previous warehouse experience within electrical wholesale industry would be advantageous but full training will be given.

- Hours: Monday to Friday [07:30 – 17:30 (45 hours per week)
